Creepy Crawlies - Siwa Oasis
There are snakes and there are scorpions here... apparently. I have lived here for a two years now and have not seen or heard of anyone seeing one. They all hibernate in the winter and are scared shitless of humans! Some are slightly poisonous and if you were unlucky enough to get bitten you need to get to the local hospital within 24 hours for the vaccine, but this is only a very slight risk and only in the summer months.
