Ludmila joined Somewhere Different at the end of 2009. Having worked in the Sinai Peninsula for a year organising desert tours there she realised the Western Desert is the place in Egypt for desert adventure and so when we were looking for a manger, she jumped at the chance to join our little team here out in Siwa Oasis.

Ludmila speaks English, French, German and her mother tong, Russian. She has a passion for the desert and the Bedouin and Berber way of life. As we are in Romania in the summer and the new flights into Marsa Matruh start in March 2010 making the desert more accessible, Ludmila will be running Somewhere Different Siwa in the summer month allowing Duncan and Penny to focus on updating our offering in Siwa and to finish what we are doing in Romania.
